Kia ora! I’m Pamela.
I am a Wellness Coach and Māori Bodywork Practitioner with a background in nursing and the wider healthcare sector. My time in clinical care taught me a vital lesson: you cannot truly heal the body without acknowledging the person as a whole. I believe that true wellness is about returning to your natural state of balance.
I use a combination of coaching and traditional bodywork—Mirimiri and Romiromi—to help you release what no longer serves you and reclaim your resilience. My approach is built on the reality that our mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing are deeply interconnected; when we support one, we strengthen them all.
My door is open to all wāhine (women) seeking a professional, grounded, and authentic space to heal and grow. Whether you are looking for clarity through coaching or release through bodywork, I am here to support your path to renewal.
My JourneyI BELIEVE
True success is rooted in authenticity. When you align your life with what makes you feel alive, growth happens naturally. You have the power to craft your own journey—live the dream you’ve always imagined.
WHAT I AM ABOUT
Authentic connection, personal empowerment, and finding the lesson in every challenge.
MY HAPPY PLACE
I am most at home by the ocean, in nature, or spending time with whānau (family) and friends. I value the simple things: nourishing food, movement, music, and listening to an insightful podcast or audiobook.
DAILY MORNING RITUALS
Karakia (Māori prayer), journaling, meditation, movement, a wholesome meal—and an infrared sauna when time allows.
My experiences have reinforced the importance of having a safe space to heal, where individuals can share their stories and reconnect with their true selves. I came to understand that true wellness must address the whole person—hinengaro (mind), tinana (body), and wairua (spirit).
To bridge the gap between clinical care and holistic wellness, I pursued education in counseling, alongside specialised certifications in trauma-informed care, mindfulness practices, and women’s health.
These qualifications beautifully complement my study of Māori healing arts such as Romiromi and Mirimiri. By blending traditional wisdom with contemporary techniques, I have created a practice that honors the whole person. I believe that our heritage and history are the anchors that allow us to rise and grow today.
Today, I am passionate about guiding women to reconnect with their power, peel away the layers of doubt, and embrace who they truly are. I believe that life’s challenges do not define us; it’s how we choose to rise and navigate those challenges that truly shapes our paths.
At Renewal Bodywork and Coaching, I’ve created a warm and caring space where women can feel safe to reclaim their power, restore their well-being, and embrace their whānaungatanga (sense of belonging). My mission is to support you on your journey toward personal empowerment, helping you uncover your true self and build the life you are meant to lead.
I invite you to take the first step on this journey with me. Together, we can explore your experiences, honor your story, and embrace the transformative power of healing. Let’s walk this path to wellness side by side, as you discover the strength and resilience that lie within you.
Taking ownership of your wellbeing is a brave and powerful step. Seeking support to understand your emotions and purpose can lead to healing, hope, and clarity — helping you reconnect with your true self and feel more free.
